A quick hello from me, and my son, Bruno
It's been a wild 5 weeks!
Hello lovely people,
Today, for the first time since giving birth 5 and a half weeks ago, I opened up my laptop. Bruno is here and our lives are ever changed, hearts opened and filled with more love than I could ever have imagined.



Birth is one thing, new parenthood is another. I am only just starting to feel slightly in control of things, and I suspect it will be short lived. But, while I have the time to say hello I wanted to drop you all a line to let you know things are grand and our boy is thriving.



Thank you so much for sticking around while I take this time off, I do hope you’ve been enjoying the recipes that have been going out. I miss cooking and I miss writing and when B is a little bigger I’ll be braving the hobs once more. For now though when it’s not a defrosted meal or a takeaway, it’s things you can make in a rice cooker or very quick pastas. Some of which I will share when the time comes, others are already on here. Here is the recipe archive, where you can find over 400 of my previous recipes to look at, including plenty of the quick pastas I’ve been living off.
