Hello lovely MORE PLEASE subscribers! Thanks so much for your support as always!

As you know, Dinner Parties are now just monthly, but you guys will still get two little posts from me, and here is your second for September. It concerns a subject I feel PASSIONATELY about. Side Dishes. Where would we be without them? If you are constructing a meal around a protein then your sides work the hardest. Moreover sometimes they are actually all I want to eat…? I often find myself more focused on a sweet, jammy pepper or a forkful of creamy potato more than I do on my salmon or my egg or my chicken. Honestly, sometimes I rehearse my best side dishes as weeknight dinners. They are comforting, easy and a little less tough on the old wallet.

So for this episode we are giving them a huge shoutout. I have got three recipes for epic sides that also make DIVINE mains - Fennel, Tomato and Anchovy gratin, Braised Courgettes and Cheesy Polenta with Peppers, Onions and Gremolata. Plus for Rosie Recommends I am discussing my favourite Side Dish Hacks - simple ideas to elevate your green beans or whatever it might be. AND I am including a little index of all the dishes I have done so far on The Dinner Party that work as brilliant sides. If you’re not subscribed to MORE PLEASE, I’d love to have ya.
